At Knolly, we know that people who own our products want to ride our products. That means on trails, recreational racing, urban assault, helidrops, BMX and bike parks, etc... We support those riders with solid products and support.

The large print:

Knolly frames are covered by a two year manufacturers warranty against defects in materials and workmanship and a three year crash replacement policy to the original owner from the date of purchase.

The fine print:

Ok – so it's the same size font as above – who wants to squint to read this stuff?

What the frame warranty covers:
  • Defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the purchase date for the original owner
  • Bearings and fasteners for six months from time of purchase
  • Finishes and decals for one year from the time of purchase (normal wear and tear is not covered)
  • Rear shocks are covered by their respective manufacturer, typically for one year from the time of purchase
What the frame warranty does not cover:
  • Damage due to crashing and or abuse
  • Damage from using non factory specified fasteners and bearings
  • Damage from using non factory approved rear shocks
  • Damage or failure due to poor, negligent or lack of maintenance
  • Damage due to improper installation of components
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Water damage to bearings, decals and finishes from high pressure washers and hoses
  • Dealer labour and costs for shipping warranty components to Knolly Bikes
What will void your frame warranty:
  • Modification of the frame in any way
  • Purchase of your frame from a non-authorized Knolly Bikes dealer
  • The following riding situations will also void your warranty – please contact us first before if you plan to ride at a professional level or use our frames for commercial use!
  • Riding for films, print or other commercial media work
  • Professional racing
  • Professional level competition use in events such as Crankworx, Red Bull Rampage, Freezeride and District Ride competitions and other pro-level slopestyle / free ride / down hill competitions
  • Use of frames for commercial use such as rental fleets

How to deal with a warranty or crash replacement issue:

Your first step should be to contact any Knolly Bikes dealer (ideally the dealer where you purchased your frame, though any Knolly Bikes dealer is OK). The dealer will contact Knolly Bikes and arrange for an RMA number.

Knolly Bikes will not accept any shipments without an RMA number!

You will need your original sales receipt!

Your dealer will ship the frame to Knolly Bikes – the frame must be completely stripped of components (including headset and BB cups) and be clean. We will replace or repair the damaged components at our option and ship them back to your dealer. We will cover return ground shipping of parts to the dealer – rush shipping can be specified for a fee.

Knolly Bikes frame crash replacement policy:

Our crash replacement policy is designed to support customers with frame failures that are not covered under our warranty program. This mainly includes failures that are not a result of defective materials or workmanship (i.e. crashing). It does not cover damage to frames due to use and/or installation of inappropriate components such as forks that exceed the maximum specified travel length for a give frame (see table below), seat post shims, 1.125“ head set reducers (for 1.5“ head tube frames), non-approved rear shocks, etc...

Please have your dealer contact Knolly Bikes when dealing with either a warranty or crash replacement issue.

Maximum fork lengths for a given model:

Frame Model Max. Fork Travel (in) Max. Fork Travel (mm)
V-tach 8 203
Delirium T 7 180
Endorphin 6 160
Free Radical 8 203

Frame component compatibility and warranty:

At Knolly bikes we are continuously striving to improve our products. When designing a new revision of a product, we try our best to build in as much backwards compatibility as possible with previous frame versions; we also try to keep a decent inventory of older generation frame components in stock. However, there are times when changes are simply required (i.e. a change in travel, shock length or leverage ratio for a model) or the industry as a whole changes (i.e. the switch from conventional ISCG chain guide mounting tabs to the ISCG05 chain guide mounting tabs) and we have to follow along. These changes may affect the compatibility of current and previous generation frames as well as any components that you've installed on your frame. We will do our best to inform you and your dealer of any incompatibility issues and of any possible additional costs ahead of time.

Reliable. Predictable. Performance. Must be a Knolly Bike.
