REAR SHOCK SPECS
Only Knolly Fourby4 suspension can achieve balance in all four of these categories with no compromise. We can build the bike to deliver the exact ride experience desired which means our bikes are some the best performance full suspension bikes on the market.
BRAKING. PEDALING. TRACTION. CONTROL.
SUSPENSION PERFORMANCE IS FOCUSED ON THESE FOUR CHARACTERISTICS.
The rear triangle pivots determine the rear wheel axle path and the anti brake jack characteristics of the frame. The chainstay pivot placement means the brakes do not lock up the suspension.
The linkage pivots are isolated from the rear wheel axle path and they are directly responsible for the progressive nature of the rear suspension. For more tech nerdy info on our Fourby4 check out our suspension page.
Warden shock fitment specifications
Shock size: 7.875 x 2.25 / Optimal sag: 30%
Top M8 x 21.8mm & Bottom 21.8mm x M6
FOX & ROCKSHOX base tune = CL, RM, Climb L (if specified).
FOR SHOCK TUNING PLEASE REFER TO THE MANUFACTURES SETUP GUIDES.
Yes, you see an extra linkage here. This is the secret sauce in the Fourby4 design. It allows us to decouple the performance aspects of the rear suspension, which means we can fine-tune each bike to match its intended purpose. Put simply - the lower linkage controls the rear wheel axle path, and the upper linkage controls the shock progression.
